听歌学英文之《Attention》

今天我们要在一首流行英文歌曲当中一边抖腿，一边学地道的英语。这首歌曲相信大家都听过，就是断眉小哥Charlie Puth的《Attention》，一直霸占各大音乐排行榜首，最近因为Lisa小姐姐的翻跳又火了一把。希望通过今天的精讲，大家不仅能把这首歌学成KTV拿手曲目，还能讲歌词中的英文表达化为己用。

【精讲】

1. Run around：忙碌，东奔西跑
= bustle about

例句：We had been running around cleaning up.

我们一直忙来忙去做清洁。


2. dirt /dɝt/ n. 污垢，泥土，灰尘；下流话
throw dirt on sb./one’s name 说某人坏话

=Talk bad about sb.

例句：He is such a jerk, he always throws dirt on somebody else’s name.

3. call sb. up：给某人打电话

= call sb.=give sb. a call

例句：I knew that I'd call you up.

我就知道会我给你打电话的。

4. face to face： 面对面

=nose to nose = in person

例句：we need to spend more time on face-to-face communication.

我们需要花更多时间在面对面交流上。

5. karma/'kɑrmə/ n. 因果报应

同义的英语俗语idiom是What goes around comes around. 或者karma is a bitch.

例句：He parked someone else’s carport, his car got towed away. What a karma!

他停在了别人的车位上，他的车被拖走了，这真是因果报应！

6. Perfume [pərˈfju:m]

n. 香水；香味 vt. 洒香水；vi. 散发香气

wear a perfume喷香水

perfume spray 香水喷壶

Eau de Toillet 是淡香水而不是toilet厕所哦

Eau de parfum 浓香水

cologne古龙水

例句：Who's wearing that spicy perfume?

谁喷了那么浓的香水？

7. be all up on：专注于，全神贯注

= focus = dedicated

例句：I can’t hang out tonight because I’m all up on my essay.

我今天晚上不能出去玩，因为我一直忙着写论文。

8. Get over sb.：忘掉某人

=forget sb.

例句：I still can’t get over my last relationship, it was heartbroken.

我还是忘不了上一段感情，真是很心碎。
