More and more people move into big cities to live. What is the reason forthis? Do you think it is a good thing or bad thing?
The reason for this trend might involve the recognitionthat there are a wide range of opportunities in large cities. 例如,medical care, education and employment. These opportunities could contribute to the increase inthe population of the metropolises.
After the talents move into the large cities, they aremore likely to seize the opportunities and achieve their capacities and skillsso as to gain a higher standard of living, which is also beneficial to thewhole society. Besides, urbanization is one of the most significant symbols ofcivilization and social progress, as well as giving an edge to the entirecountry in terms of development. In addition, with the migration of plenty of peoplefrom different areas, there could be a wide array of cultures in the largecities, which make the cities more interesting and attractive.
One of the main concerns is the security of society. Withthe acceleration of the pace of life, an increasing number of people would liveunder high pressure in terms of work and life. Some of these people withresentment tend to commit crimes such as robbery, which is detrimental tosociety. Apart from this, the congestion and environmental pollution also haveimpact on the large cities negatively. Furthermore, with the rise of thepopulation of the metropolises, the supply of power and water also imposes aheavy burden to the government.
