口语实战分析：人物篇

在雅思口语考试中，人物话题是超高频考题之一，这些话题考的都是让考生对于人物的描写。比如，常见的考题有：

Describe a person you know who has helped you before

Describe a person who is good at his (her) job

Describe a person who you would like to spend time with

Describe an old person who you know and respect

Describe a person who has had an important influence on your life

……

近几年，对于人物的描述的话题范围逐渐从描述身边的人物演变到如今的大小人物，比如描述一个公众人物、艺术家、电视/电台主持人等。对于这类描述大人物的话题，很多烤鸭就开始犯难了，总觉得他们离实际生活太遥远，不知道如何去进行描述，甚至觉得无话可说。

现在Aria老师就带着大家一起看一看最近出现在多伦多雅思口语考试中的话题：

describe aperson who had a great contribution in your city (描述一个做出贡献的人)。

其实这个题目完全可以参考烤鸭们自己准备好的讲关于公众人物的话题。首先，可以谈谈该人物的总体描述，他（她）的国籍、职业等。然后讲讲关于他（她）的背景和目前的工作或者状态。最后突出他（她）对于周围的环境、社会或者国家做出的贡献。当然，无论你描述的人物是谁，最后的落脚点一定要扣题，也就是具体讲一些关于贡献的细节。

下面我们以describe a person who had a great contribution in your city为例，希望可以为广大烤鸭提供助力。

The person who I am going to talk about is Ma Yun. He is the recently named China'srichest man - the man who took Alibaba Group, China's largest e-commerce business, to the biggest initial public offering in US history.

Ma Yun was born and grew up in my hometown Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. All the people in my hometown know his story. He quitted his first job as an English teacher and started his own business. Although he failed countless times, he never gave upand finally succeeded. His company Alibaba has great impact on people's lives, and it's bringing the Chinese society into a new and real business world.

I think this is one of the contributions that he made to the Chinese society. He leaded his company to ignite innovation, create jobs, benefit customers and help entrepreneurs fulfill their dreams. With Alibaba's platform, people are improving their lives today. The most appealing part about his contribution is that Ma Yun supports numerous organizations and has won great reputation for his charitable efforts. There are more than 20 charities he has been supporting.

Recently, Ma Yun learned about an organization of supporting education in rural China. He donated about ten million Chinese yuan, which is about one million and a half US dollars, and he also urged his viewers to donate in his weibo, a microblog in China. We are proud to have many legendary and dedicated people, who had devoted their lives and time to build a better society. My country needs more people like Ma Yun to make it a better place.

值得注意的是，无论你说的是谁，这个人做出了什么样的贡献，只要你语言流畅、逻辑要点清晰、言之有理就可以。另外，准备这个口语话题的同时，也可以参照着准备一下相似的话题卡：
