鉴于很多考生都在提一个简单粗暴的问题：“能不能给我们一些高分的朗读资料”，Nick准备在接下来的一段时间内创作一些简单易读的口语Part 2内容，供大家练习朗读使用。

Describe a friend you know for a long time

朗读：

I don’t even remember since when I started to hang out with Mike, but ever since we became friends, the days have become more interesting.

We were classmates in high school which is a typical one in China. With very limited leisure activities, our life seemed a bit boring and monotonous. Mike is not a kind of person who allows his life to be unchanged forever, so he figured out so many ways to challenge the system. For example, he formed an online debate referring to the students’ daily behaviours and some other controversial topics, such as “Does more homework mean better study performance?” or “Should we do more sports?”. Those topics induce series of discussion among students and many of us even made new plans for balancing the work and leisure time.

The reason why we can keep great friendship is that both of us are able to open our mind for each other’s disagreement. In other words, we all admit 2 people’s minds combined is greater than individual work. Therefore, with sharing and taking each other’s opinion, our bond also grows stronger.
