完美句号：姚明，永远的11号

2月4日，在休斯顿丰田中心的屋顶上，从此又多了一件退休球衣的身影。那不是别人，正是我们“东方小巨人”姚明效力火箭队时的11号队服。这是自从姚明进入名人堂之后，再一次众人对于他对篮球事业发展以及中美文化交流做出的贡献表示肯定。

我们来看一下姚明在球衣退役仪式上的精彩发言片段吧。

在发言一上来，姚明对各方先表达了感谢，于是用中文“万事如意”，并解释which means make your wish come true，对在场所有人表示新年祝福。接下来他调侃道“but when I walked in this room and I saw my number was up there, I know my first wish in the year is already gone because I wish I could get a 10-day contract”。接着他说到对NBA以及火箭队的第一次接触是在1994，”when NBA was first time broadcasting in China, that’s when the great “Dream”(这是奥拉朱旺打球时的昵称) brought the championship cup back to Huston for the first time”，姚明表示奥拉朱旺是他对梦想渴望的启蒙老师。然后他开始回忆起当初刚进火箭队时候的日子，”back then, I was chasing Steve Francis（弗老大） and Cuttino Mobley（除了弗老大，当时的火箭队另一个后卫） in a transition, it’s just like 2 mini tanks dragging a huge Boeing 777(tripe 7) plane on the airport. After that, T-Mac came to town and joined us.”他不忘赞美Tracy McGrady职业生涯中最伟大的时刻，在35秒中连得13分帮助火箭队反败为胜马刺队，可是他是这么说的，”you know what I told my neighbour after that night when I drove home, as he turned off the TV minutes before the game was over, I told him that T-Mac and I scored 15 points in the last minute and turned the game around.” 最后他描述了一个故事，在他rookie year时，每个队友送了他一个2块钱的红包作为演讲的结尾，他说到”I still have one of those 2 dollar bill in my pocket and I cared since then because I know wherever I go and how far I go, as long as that bill in my pocket, the home is with me. Thank you for the journey.”
