雅思大作文如何开篇？7种方法写好首段

在构思整篇雅思大作文的时候，同学们肯定最开始要想想首段。今天我们就分几个系列为大家讲解，希望同学们的开头段写作可以让考官眼前一亮，勇夺高分。

首先，同学们要定下首段的结构，如下：

首段结构 (3-5 sentences, about 70-80 words)

1) Describing the topic 描述话题

2) Paraphrase the topic 改写题目（题目较长）或State other people’s opinions 阐述他人观点(辩论类题目)

3) Your opinion of the issue/ layout of the main body 表明个人观点（辩论类）/主体部分布局（论说类）

我们拿个例题为同学进行讲解：

Children spend far too much time in front of a computer, and not enough time playing sports. This is resulting in a generation of unhealthy people. Therefore, children should not be allowed to use computers until the age of eighteen. Do you agree or disagree？

首先，描述话题。我们为同学们准备了第一组方法：背景法，下面是范例，同学尽量通通消化吸收哦。

背景法

1)Due to/owing to the incredibly/miraculously speedy improvement/growth/advancement /speeding up of economic development/science and technology, ……., whereas numerous unneglectable problems have been given risen to.

2)Notwithstanding no one can deny the fact that ………….. and that…………., we should be aware of their potentially damaging impacts on many aspects and remain skeptical of ……

3)It is commonly /universally /widely /generally believed /thought /acknowledged /accepted that ….. has played an increasingly indispensable/significant role in our daily life, not only ….. but also…..

4)It can not be doubted that/ It goes without saying that, currently, the issue of … has been in the limelight/brought into focus, which has exerted an excessively momentous impact on our lives.

例：Notwithstanding no one can deny the fact that computers are transforming our world and our lives in an astonishing way and that we rely on them for daily existence, we should be aware of their potentially damaging impacts on many aspects and remain skeptical of the over-computerization of our world.

调查报告法

调查报告法是为了得到读者的认可，文章的开始可以引出调查数据等，借以提出主题。

According to/In accordance with the result of a recent survey/investigation/poll done/conducted/implemented by an authoritative organization/a celebrated website/ an influential magazine, ……….

例1: According to the result of a recent investigation done by an authoritative organization/an internationally noted magazine, the sales volume of automobiles in recent years reveals a remarkable growth.

例2: In accordance with a survey result done by an environmental bureau of investigation, environment deteriorated at an unprecedented pace throughout the world.

In accordance with a recent investigation done by Educational Bureau, approximately 80% children spend more than half of their time on computer.

假设法

假设法是指通过假设提出一种选择，交代文章要涉及的问题，从而提出文章的主题。

Suppose that/ On condition that/ Provided that you are offered two…., one is ……, the other is …, which one would be your preferential choice?

例: Suppose you were offered two jobs, one is highly-paid but rather demanding, the other is less demanding, but poorly-paid, which would you prefer? …

引语法

引用谚语或名人名言。由于谚语一般已经被大家所接受，用谚语提出观点也容易被读者所接受。

As the saying goes/There is an old saying goes like this, …

例 1：As the saying goes, "Money makes the mare go", but there are many things we can't buy with money, such as time and true love.

例2："Practice makes perfect" is an old saying. It tells us that it does not matter if we are clumsy at doing something. As long as we keep on trying and practicing, we will do a good job in the end.

例3: "Just as eating without liking harms the health, learning without interest harms the memory and can't be retained.” From Vinci's words we can see how important it is to motivate the students in language learning.

As the saying goes, “Science and technology is a double-edged sword.”

提问法

一般设置3个问题。通过提问一个或一连串的问题，可以激发读者的兴趣，从而引出主题。

例: Who should be responsible for the environmental pollution? Should the government or company shoulder the main responsibility? Do individuals have nothing to do with the amelioration of environment?

Do you usually play computer? Have you calculated the time you spend on it per day? Do you regularly do some sports to keep fit?

故事法

指用简单有趣的故事激发读者的兴趣，从而提出自己的观点。如下面"Is Stress a Bad Thing?"

例: “I can't stand the pressure and competition，” explained one friend of mine when asked why he decided to quit his highly-paid but demanding position in his company recently. My friend may have his own reasons，but I don't think his decision is wise in reality.

“I spend nearly eight hours every day in playing computer,” replied a child when inquired how long he spends on computer on an average day.  

排比法

顾名思义，列出排比句。

例: It is universally acknowledged that modern technologies are widely used in our everyday entertainment activities, providing joy and happiness for all. We enjoy kaleidoscopic TV programs using signals received from satellites; we play music and show films on complex hi-fi stereos; and innumerable people surf the Internet every day for information and fun.

以网络带给人们方便为题，练习排比句。

No one can deny the truth that Internet has brought great conveniences to our daily life. Via internet, we can purchase diversified commodities we like; via internet, we can acquire kaleidoscopic information we need; via internet, we can communicate with faraway friends or relatives we concern.
