FREE ALL AGES SCIENCE STREET FAIR AT THE UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO

Science Rendezvous is where people and science meet. It’s five city blocks of hands-on learning and discovery that moves state-of the-art laboratories and research facilities into city streets. Serving science fans of all ages, Science Rendezvous brings kids face-to-face with the scientists, engineers, clubs, hobbyists, and researchers at the frontiers of innovation, and gives students a behind-the-scenes look into science as a career.

Join us for a day of discovery and experimentation, packed with puzzles, demonstrations, and workshops that challenge youth to flex their real-life superpowers!

MODERN DAY SUPERHEROES: DISCOVER YOUR SUPERPOWER WITH SCIENCE!

From seeing galaxies with telescopes to moving at supersonic speeds with jet propelled automobiles, people around the world are using science to make superpowers a reality! Come explore the diverse abilities of each science discipline and see how scientists use their minds and ingenuity to do what has never been done before. As you navigate through the exhibits and learn about the various science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields, we challenge you to harness what you learn and discover your own scientific superpower!

本次活动为多伦多大学一年一度的科学狂欢节，在这一天，无论什么年纪的科学迷们都会参加。科学家，工程师等等科学相关领域的专业人士都会到场展出最新科学研究，粉丝们不仅可以看到新奇好玩的科学发明，更有机会了解科学行业的台前幕后。

Get Involved

Science Rendezvous is an annual national science festival that showcases the new innovations and amazing research that goes on at UofT. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, May 7, 2016. We want to promote science education in youth and the community, as well as have a great time doing it. We need volunteers to make the whole day come together.
